Gerry Borden
Gerry Borden received his degree in Music Education, and after a short stint in the public school system, went on to further develop his skills through church music, product sales, and finally, heritage programming with Parks Canada.
Joining the Barbershop Harmony Society in 1990, he has held a number of leadership positions at the chapter, district and international levels. He has served as the Evergreen District President, and as a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society Board of Directors. In 2017, Gerry was inducted into the Evergeen District Hall of Fame.
He has served as the Vice Chair for Sing Canada Harmony (a music education scholarship funding body) and Scholarship Committee chair, the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association (MBHA), and Director of the Chilliwack Harmony Chorus.
Gerry is the Immediate Past President of the Heritage Abbotsford Society in Abbotsford, BC.
He lives in Abbotsford with his wife Linda and two cats, Sonny and Cher.
